About Us

Bodhi & The Birchtree was founded in Scotland, and was inspired by our Working Cocker Spaniel Bodhi, who we spent so much time for researching and raking the shelves of popular dog stores for healthy treats! This encouraged us to make our own healthy dog treats and at Christmas time in 2020, Bodhi & The Birchtree was born. 

We started out with a small selection of homemade treats, but quickly grew and began selling our own handmade Polar Fleece Snoods and Blankets. Soon after my partner Glen joined the business and we both made it our full time job along with our Working Golden Retriever puppy, Birch.

Fast forward to 2023…we have been featured in the UK’s No1 Dog Magazine, Edition Dog, twice, have attended lots of markets where we’ve been delighted to meet many customers, have had multiple sell out launches, and have now shipped Bodhi & The Birchtree products to every corner of the globe.

We are proud to now stock treats, chews, a huge pick n’ mix selection, Handmade Polar & Sherpa Fleece Blankets, Snoods, Supplements, our own Handmade Snuffle Balls and eco balls, We not only sell dog products, but human too! Just last year created Human Sherpa & Polar Fleece Headbands which have been subject to a number of sell out launches, Human Snoods, Candles, Sustainably made Bags, and bath products - all created by us and a number of small businesses.

The incentive for our business was to create one store where you can pick up everything you need for both you and your dog, instead of shopping at multiple different stores to get everything you need! Our main focus and priority is that all of the products make and stock must be healthy for your dog AND for the planet.

We hope you love our products, we use absolutely no plastic in any of our Bodhi & The Birchtree range, and all of the other lovely products we feature are from small businesses who also make sustainability a top priority.
